TSR-01 puts a DJ filter, resonance, slip reverse and beat repeat under your fingers. No hardware, just a camera. The visuals it draws are the ones you project.
The Mac app is coming soon. The browser demo is live now, and the download link goes to the list first.
TSR-01 is macOS-only (Apple Silicon). Leave your email on the about page and you'll hear about other platforms first.
Each hand gives you five things to move: the pinch, the wrist turning either way, and where the hand sits, left to right and bottom to top. Send any of them to a built-in effect, or out as MIDI to whatever you already play.
Layout it ships with. Every row is a dropdown in the sidebar.
Cutoff / Resonance / Reverb send / Reverb decay / Delay send / Delay feedback / Delay rate / Flanger depth / Flanger rate / Distortion drive / Distortion tone / Slip reverse / Beat repeat / Scene travel
Switch either hand to EXT and its controls go out as MIDI instead, to your DAW, a synth, a pedal board. Nothing is locked to the built-in sound.
Your audio plays into TSR.link, TSR-01’s own driver, and comes back out filtered. No plugin, no routing.
Layers that react to your movement and the camera input. Mirror the screen over HDMI and that is the projection.
A track and the settings that suit it. Play with no DAW and no interface.
Send MIDI out and control anything else with the same gestures.
Any source to any destination, changed from the sidebar. The default is only a starting point.
Low latency, smoothing that keeps up with fast hands. Made by a DJ who plays it every week.
| Machine | Tested on Apple Silicon (M1). It may run on older Macs; we have not checked. |
| macOS | 11 Big Sur or newer. |
| Camera | Built-in or external. TSR-01 is played with your hands; without one it does nothing. |
| Ableton Live | Optional. TSR-01 processes any audio input: a mic, an interface, a demo session. |
